Tues. June 14, 2016: Exemplar Essay Discussion

Today, the students were provided with an exemplar one source essay. They got into groups and analyzed it for content and pattern of argument. I then instructed them to reflect on their last in-class essay to determine what changes they could make to improve their overall mark on the final essay

Today, students wrote their Hamlet comprehension exam. If a student wasn't here, he or she will have to write it either at lunch tomorrow or on Tuesday of next week.

Today, we finished watching the film version of Hamlet and then the students prepared their cheat sheets for tomorrow's in-class essay.
keep in mind that I will only accept them up to the start of class tomorrow (they are officially due at the end of school today).
Keep in mind also that you have a Hamlet comprehension exam on Wednesday.
Also keep in mind that your independent novels studies are dead-lined for Wednesday as well.
